Hi! This site started out as an intro to my work as a software engineer. It's currently in an awkward transition between that and something geared more towards idea sharing. (I'm in the process of churning out some written thoughts. Sharing that kind of work publicly is a new thing for me, but now feels like a good time to start.)

Meanwhile, an overview on the engineering side: most of my experience is in backend microservices, cloud providers (AWS Developer Associate cert with others on the way), CI/CD, observability, frontends in React/TypeScript, and IaC. Regarding languages, I'm most comfortable in Go, TypeScript, and Python, and have also worked with C#/.NET and Ruby. Things I look forward to picking up include Rust, deeper experience with OpenTelemetry, formal verification, and probably some fundamentals of data science or ML.
